1. There’s a song in my heart that is ringing,
And so sweetly its cadences roll,
‘Tis the song of a dear loving Savior,
Who hath given His peace to my soul.
Chorus:
O the wonderful, wonderful story,
The story that never grows old, (that never grows old,)
Of Him whose dear love hath redeemed me,
The sweetest that ever was told.
2. ‘Tis a song of a loving Redeemer;—
Let it echo on land and on sea;
Of the love of a mighty Deliv’rer,
Who can save a poor sinner like me.
3. I will praise His dear name for its music,
‘Tis the glorious song of the free;
‘Tis the song of the ransomed in glory,
And this song He has given to me.
