1. Elijah made a sacrifice
To offer to Jehovah;
It had been wet with water thrice,
Baal’s sacrifice was over;
Elijah pray’d, the fire came down,
And lick’d the water all around,
And doubting ones believ’d and found
Elijah’s God was living.
