1. The lost shall hear the story of my Savior’s love for me!
His wondrous mercy, truth and grace the wayward throng must know;
The world shall hear of Christ, the Lord, who died to set me free,
Because I’ll magnify and praise Him ev’rywhere I go.
Chorus:
Then, ev’rywhere I go with joy I’ll tell it!
My heart with songs of grateful praise to Him shall overflow!
Yes, ev’rywhere I go with joy I’ll tell it,
Because I want this dying world to know.
2. Too precious is the story for my heart to keep alone,
So many others need to know it who are sinking low;
And so my blessed Savior and His goodness shall be known,
Because I’ll magnify and praise Him ev’rywhere I go.
3. I’ll praise Him while I’m living in this wilderness of strife;
Although a life’s devotion cannot pay the debt I owe;
But, by and by, in Heav’n with Him thro’ an eternal life,
My only theme forever more shall be—He lov’d me so!
