It matters little if dark or fair—
Whole-souled honesty printed there.
2. Beautiful eyes are those that show,
Like crystal panel where hearthfires glow,
Beautiful tho’ts that burn below.
3. Beautiful hands are those that do
Work that is earnest and brave and true,
Moment by moment, the long day through.
4. Beautiful lives are those that bless;
Fountains of love and happiness;
Lives that in spirit Christ confess.
