1. The Lord is my Shepherd, He makes me repose
Where the pastures in beauty are growing,
He leads me afar from the world and its woes,
Where in peace the still waters are flowing.
2. He strengthens my spirit, He shows me the path,
Where the arms of His love shall enfold me,
And when I walk through the dark valley of death,
His rod and His staff will uphold me!
