1. You can be a blessing while on earth you dwell;
Clouds of grief and sadness you can help dispel;
If the love of Jesus you to others show,
You can be a blessing ev’rywhere you go.

2. You can be a blessing, lowly tho’ your lot;

3. Joy is all in serving; giving is true gain;
Losing life for others, life we do retain;
Try to carry sunshine to the sad and lone,
Cheer another’s pathway, bright will be your own.
